Affine - a concept for a luxury suite, located in Hotel Pennsylvania, designed specifically for business travelers, who are coming to NYC for a product launch.

The purpose of the design was to change the nature of luxury. A combination of quality, comfort, and elegance, alongside an element of scarcity, authenticity, and distinctiveness, makes up the modern interpretation of lux and leisure. 

I have designed 2 luxury suites. The price point per suite will start at $599 per night. The duration of stay will be versatile, from overnight to extended stay. The main focus is on the expansion and contraction of the suites. Each will have a similar layout, including a sleeping area, wardrobe, kitchen and bar, small dining, a living area, a spa, and a bathroom. A special focus was directed towards creating flexibility in furniture, storage, millwork, and room configurations, ultimately allowing the suites to expand and contract. 

The design of the spaces is driven by Italian fashion and decor, bold colors and patterns, as well as modern art and design of the 20th century, the influence of which is prominent in the FFF&E selections.  Affine, translated from French, means “luxury”.
